OpenAI ChatGPT latest figures: 1.2 billion weekly active users, up 200 million in two months
OpenAI consumer chief Adam Fry told Big Technology at a New York event on November 2 that ChatGPT has reached 1.2 billion weekly active users, adding about 200 million in the past 60 days, or roughly 100 million every 30 days. He also said ChatGPT now handles search-type queries equal to about one fifth of Google volume, generates 1.5 billion images per week, and counts 250 million weekly active users across voice input and voice chat. The pace suggests ChatGPT is not only still growing fast, but increasingly used as a search alternative and a multimodal everyday tool.
