AI inference startup Fal doubles its valuation to $16B as demand surges
Fal has raised $1.3 billion in a Series F round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, valuing the AI inference startup at $16 billion, double its $8 billion valuation in April. The deal matters because inference — running trained models for customers — is becoming one of the most capital-intensive and contested layers of the AI industry, and Fal says it has already passed $800 million in annualized revenue.
