Siri AI will handle tasks across apps: Apple opens App Skills so one sentence can chain multiple app tasks
Apple has opened Siri AI's new App Skills to third-party developers, letting apps guide Siri through more complex multi-step tasks that will arrive with iOS 27.3 and macOS 27.3, which are still in developer testing. For example, a user could ask Siri to send a favorited pair of sneakers to their partner through a chat app, with Siri finding the item, identifying the partner, and sending it without switching apps. This matters because Siri is moving from responding to single commands toward coordinating Apple and third-party apps to complete continuous tasks.
