Alphabet's AI drug-discovery company Isomorphic Labs is reportedly in talks to raise about $5 billion at a valuation of up to $50 billion. Spun out of Google DeepMind in 2021, it uses AI to accelerate drug discovery, and it raised $2.1 billion in May led by Thrive Capital. The talks matter because a round of this size would be among the largest AI-biology financings, though the deal is not yet closed.
