Chinese AI chipmaker Iluvatar CoreX says new GPU matches Nvidia's H200
Shanghai-based Iluvatar CoreX demonstrated its Tiangai 300 GPU at a media open day on October 28, saying a third-party test put its single-card throughput at about 1.05 times Nvidia's H200 in a disaggregated inference deployment. The company did not disclose the full test conditions, so the claim remains company-reported rather than independently verified. If the performance holds up broadly, it would mark the first domestic Chinese GPU at H200 level, giving Chinese cloud providers and model developers a local alternative to imported accelerators under export restrictions.
