AI agents stole 190k gaming credentials for under $400 in model costs

Check Point Research found cybercriminals used the AI-powered hacking platform ARTEX to steal more than 190,000 gaming credentials, mostly for Honor of Kings, for an estimated $180 to $360 in model costs, with about 6,000 accounts still valid. The researchers also counted 1,608 publicly exposed ARTEX control servers and documented two further campaigns, including the theft of Apple code-signing certificates, all run almost fully autonomously once the initial goal was set. The report shows autonomous AI hacking already operating at industrial scale, letting attackers with little technical skill run broad, persistent campaigns cheaply.
