Fox completes its acquisition of TV streaming platform Roku, accelerating its digital transformation
Fox said on November 6 it has completed its acquisition of streaming platform Roku, a deal announced in June and valued at $22 billion. Roku founder Anthony Wood will join Fox's board and co-lead a new digital products and services division with CEO Paul Cheesbrough. The deal matters because it turns a major US broadcaster into one of the largest connected-TV businesses, combining Roku with Fox's Tubi and Fox One streaming services.
