RT Cangshu: Coze is being shut down, and I worked on Coze at ByteDance. My profile still says Coze Workflow Engine Developer, but by next year nobody may know what Coze was...
The enterprise edition of ByteDance agent platform Coze, known in China as Kouzi, has announced its shutdown: a screenshot of the notice shows it will stop accepting new enterprise customers from 30 November 2026, with enterprise plans fully offline by 31 December 2027. A former ByteDance engineer who worked on the Coze Workflow engine reflected that drag-and-drop workflow skills have been absorbed into agents, as models that plan for themselves replace this transitional approach. Coze was once one of China most representative low-code agent building platforms, so the enterprise shutdown directly affects paying business users and marks a further consolidation of ByteDance agent products around Doubao.
