XPeng Group's Robotaxi “XPeng Youyou” Receives L4 Autonomous Driving Demonstration Operation Qualification
XPeng Group's Robotaxi “XPeng Youyou” has been approved for L4 autonomous driving demonstration operation across Guangzhou. The program moved from a road-test permit in January and a dedicated Robotaxi unit in March to more than 2,000 internal test orders in Guangzhou in August using second-generation VLA mass-produced vehicles. This matters because it takes XPeng from testing toward citywide commercial demonstration, with driverless passenger operation targeted for next year.
