Oracle will offer Google TPUs on its cloud platform in 2027

Oracle and Google announced that Google's tensor processing units will come to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, making Oracle the first hyperscaler besides Google to offer TPUs. The service is expected to launch in 2027 and expand over several years, supporting large-model training, inference and agent applications, including the eighth-generation TPU 8t for training and TPU 8i for inference. The deal matters because it gives enterprises a second major cloud route to Google's AI chips outside Google's own cloud.
