RT DogeDesigner: BREAKING: Indian government sources say Starlink is welcome in India. 🇮🇳 “Customer is the king,” one official told ANI today…
Indian government sources told ANI that Starlink is welcome in India, saying “customer is the king” and that India welcomes competition in satellite internet. Separately, regulator TRAI has proposed letting Indian mobile operators use their existing spectrum to connect phones directly to satellites, which could give Starlink a route to offer Direct to Cell in India through a local telecom partner. If both advance, Starlink would gain access to one of the world’s largest telecom markets, including areas beyond the reach of cell towers.
