11.6-billion-yuan domestic AI compute mega-deal! Dahua wins 2.63 billion yuan
Dahua's subsidiary Huachi Smart has won a roughly 2.63-billion-yuan slice of China Mobile's 2026–2027 next-generation AI supernode tender, a project totalling 20,480 cards plus 448 RoCE switches and 82 storage sets, worth an estimated 11.6 to 11.7 billion yuan. The five winners split the cards as 6,144, 5,120, 4,096, 3,072 and 2,048, with delivery due in 30 days. Why it matters: the tender shows the scale of China's carrier-led build-out of domestic AI compute, and because China Mobile owns over 5% of Dahua, the deal counts as a related-party transaction.
