Cognition draws investor offers valuing it at $70B to $80B, months after a $48B round
Cognition has received investor offers valuing it at $70 billion to $80 billion and is seriously considering a round before year-end, though talks are early and terms could change. The offers come weeks after Cognition raised more than $2 billion at a $48 billion valuation in September, implying roughly 78 to 89 times its revenue figure. At that range it would top the $60 billion SpaceX paid in stock for Cursor maker Anysphere, leaving Cognition among the few large independent coding-agent startups still available to venture investors.
