Indian AI firm AM Intelligence reportedly seeks $3 billion in funding to order Nvidia chips
Citing people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reports that AM Intelligence, founded by the founders of India's Greenko group, is seeking up to $3 billion through bonds and bank loans to pay for Nvidia next-generation chips it has already announced plans to buy, and it also expects $300 million in prepayments from potential customers. The talks are still at an early stage and terms may change. The case matters because it shows how large AI infrastructure bets in Asia are increasingly being financed with debt and customer prepayments, not just equity.
